Spanish IV is moving forward to new territory. While we are still working on the differences between the Preterite and Imperfect tense, we have added two additional past tenses: Past and Present Perfect.
To aid in written exercises some students have asked that we complete vocabulary units. Quizzes over Set 1 were excellent and I'm anticipating high grades for Set 2.
Students will be completing a written project in the upcoming weeks. To practice the use of the past tenses students will be writing and illustrating children stories to present to the class. We will be working on these in class as well as peer editing and student/teacher conferences.
REMINDER: Cheating will not be tolerated. Students caught using online translation services inappropriately will recieve a "0" for the assignment. If you have a question as to whether you fall into this category come see me and I will help you. Its important to write what you know, start simple and over time your sentences will get more complex.
