About Me:
After graduating from Dixon High School in 2005 I attended Sauk Valley Community College receiving an Associate Degree in Art in 2007. I transfered to Western Illinois University as a Spanish Major and a French Minor with an emphasis in Secondary Education. During my junior year I studied abroad in Spain completing two programs: Advanced Grammar Study at the Colegio de España in Salamanca and Advanced Spanish History and Culture at La universitat de Jaume I in Castellón de la Plana. I think studying abroad has greatly improved my comprehension of the language and provides me with unique experiences to share with my students. I graduated from Western Illinois University as Departmental Scholar for the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures as well as Summa Cum Laude in 2010.
