Coming off of my rookie year as a teacher at NHS I am looking forward to this upcoming year and hope to build upon my classes.
American Literature is the English class associated with Juniors and focuses on authors/poets/essayists ranging from colonial times up until current day.
Speech class is a requirement for Sophomores and prepares students for public speaking as well as proper social etiquette in a variety of situations.
Journalism involves students with the yearbook and other social medias connected to the high school.
About Me:
I am a 2010 graduate from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA and a 2005 graduate from Newman Central Catholic High School. I am an avid reader of philosophies and take a great interest into news media. I hope to help students build confidence in their voice not only on paper but in public, and I want to provide my students with the best opportunities in order to become successful.
