   Greetings,

This present school year, financial need has been a continually increasing problem. Last year, 28%of our student body was on tuition assistance to the tune of $98,000. As to date, this year, 39% of our student body is on tuition assistance to the tune of $115,000. Newman’s enrollment has increased by 16 students over last year and the need for tuition assistance has grown. The combined tuition of our student body does not quite cover the salaries and benefits of our teaching staff. Also, tuition assistance does not include scholarships students received from various charitable agencies. Without your continued help the tradition of Catholicism, the moral ethical values of Jesus Christ and the invitation calling us to the Kingdom of Heaven could be seriously jeopardized. Newman is a wonderful symbol and model of the Catholic Church and the works of Christ. Newman needs our continual support to remain an active leader in the community as a visible sign of Jesus Christ in the world. Newman also seeks to instill Christian values into the heart, mind and spirit of each DSC00001.JPGstudent. These fine young men and women, who are our Newman students, live in times that offer values, priorities and a morality contrary to the Gospel message. Although, some students may chose not to follow what is taught and sponsored at Newman concerning their Christian and/or Catholic faith, many do listen and respond positively. Recent statistics inform us that 95% of the adult leaders in the Catholic Church come from our Catholic schools. Please help support Newman now and thus secure the future of the Church.

May God bless you for your generosity,
                    Rev. Paul M. Lipinski, Principal
